TALC
is a registered charity, which supplies teaching-aids and
books to raise standards of health care and reduce poverty
worldwide and is professionally advised by the Centre for
International Child Health (CICH), Institute of Child Health,
University of London.
TALC sends out 60,000 low-cost books and
one-third of a million teaching transparencies each year. Flannel
graphs, oral-rehydration spoons, arm circumference tapes and weight
charts which fit the TALC direct recording scales are also available.

The CICH
Resource Centre is the only place in the UK where books and
other teaching material published and distributed by Teaching Aids at
Low Cost (TALC) are available for sale. TALC slides may be viewed and
ordered from St Albans, but cannot be purchased at the Resource Centre.
Volunteers are available to help with enquires and sales between 10:00
and 16:00 ONLY. Please note that payments can be made using cash or
cheque only. Credit cards are not accepted.
